KJG Images

Hello, my name is Karen Green and I am based in Cornwall, UK, on the north coast which has some stunning and rugged scenery. At around the age of nine or ten, my parents bought me my first camera, a Halina 126. From this little camera, a love of photography was born. Many years later I finally progressed to a digital bridge camera. Having discovered what could be possible, I treated myself to a Canon DSLR. Now I tend to use my Fuji X-T1 CSC. It has been a steep learning curve which has been interesting, yet at times frustrating. I think I'm finally starting to get the hang of it!!

In 2017 I took a photography course with the Open University,  in conjunction with the Royal Photographic Society, and I passed. In 2018, I was featured in What Digital Camera magazine . I wrote about my camera, the Fuji X-T1 and they published photos I had taken. Currently, (2020) I am one of 5 finalists in 3 categories, out of 3,000 entrants for Practical Photography magazine's competition: Outdoor Photo of the Year 2019, with my image of a grass snake who visited my garden.

Nowadays, I mostly shoot insects, flowers and pet portraits. I also like to play with textures, adding them to my images to make them more artistic.

Please take a further look at my website and if there is anything you would like to purchase or if I can take that special image for you, then just drop me line using the contact button above or call me on 07876 444263. I can supply blank greeting cards, prints and canvasses.
